African American History

History of a nation can contain both happiest and shameful events. Here the African American history is inexorably built of discrimination, maltreatment and slavery. It should also have the place for courage, pride and determination.

UK also had a shameful event in its history it has lost all its wealth because of slave trade. And in 1865 slavery was abolished from the nation. This was revocable in UK but not an end in African American history. Prejudiced against other races were able to change overnight and it has to go a long way to get freedom.
Isolation in the South was strongly practices. One day, an ordinary woman Rosa Parks denied giving up her seat in the bus to a white man. This act was like contravention of the law. But this was been a long and hard day for Rosa and so she couldn't take it any more.

Slowly and step by step isolation was broken down. African Americans were able to sit at the front of the bus, drink from the same fountain and went to the white men’s colleges. But not all agreed to this and still discrimination was practiced in some parts of the nation.

Dr. Martin Luther King with his extraordinary speeches fought for the rights of the peoples and to stop the cruelty. The history of the African American would be different one in absence of Dr. Martin Luther King.

Climatic conditions in Mauritania

Almost all the year through, Mauritania is very hot, and with extremely little rain. As the country is very dry, it is still surprisinly bearable. In some areas in the south the climate stays more or less the same all the year through. Summers in the capital, Nouakchott, are not all that much warmer than the winter season, but there is more chance of rain during the summer.

Mid-summer is a difficult time in most of Mauritania's interior, but life is still acceptable in oases, where shadow is arranged, and where cool springs can make this season almost very pleasant. The greatest problem is not really the high day temperatures, but the fact that summer does not manage to bring night temperatures down below 20°C.

It is difficult to recommend specific times of the year, and regions. Winter is surely the time when most will find Mauritania at its most pleasant, but as stated above, certain areas offer pleasant stays even deep into the summer season.
