Time Management

This is a small sharing of mine which I read and felt myself energetic. The one thing in our hands is TIME. So let’s use it very effectively.

Here are few tips for effective time management:

  1. We should reschedule our engagements, advancing time by half an hour. But let’s remember to quite our gate at that time, using the quit-gate model.
  2. One secret tension-free living is to manage our time comfortably.
  3. Whenever we get up late even by half an hour, the whole day would be tensed. And so, get up early. For a man who lives say, for 60 years, it is like living 5 more years if he gets up early by an hour every day.

Every day, start the day with planning. For that, maintain a pocket size diary and list out the engagements for the day and then prioritize them. But don’t be crazy to do too many things in a day! At the same, if you are able to meet all your engagements on all days (by and large), you may well note that you are not having enough work!

  1. The biggest killer of time is GOSSIP. Another equally damaging tool is T.V., the ‘Time Virus’!
  2. “Procrastination is the thief of Time” (It’s the worst enemy of life). Recall, first lets finish off the work we generally don’t like; automatically, we will start liking to do without postponement, the things we like; Also let us paste a big size print out, “Only Lazy Creatures Postpone! Only Fools Postpone!” in the bath room, bed room, etc. This works likes a magic!
  3. Every night before we retire, let us spend 10min, to “retrospect and introspect”. Rote memory technique will be of great help in this regard.
  4. While managing our time, lets remember to allot sometime to our family, more so to our children. After all, “the best inheritance a parent can give his children is a few minutes of his time each day!”

As we know, “nobody is rich enough to buy back his past!” There is nothing like “I don’t have time”. It is the busiest man who can spare time, some time, since we all knows its value.

Have a nice time!
